Scott Michael Jenniges

Funeral Mass for Scott Jenniges, 59 of Wabasso, MN will take place at 11:00a.m. Saturday March 25, 2023 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Wabasso, MN. A public visitation will be held from 4:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. Friday March 24, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home in Wabasso, MN. Visitation will continue Saturday morning one hour prior to the funeral mass. Interment will take place at a later date. Scott Michael Jenniges was born on August 30, 1963 in Minneapolis, MN to Mathias Jenniges and Dolores (Schons) Jenniges. The Jenniges family moved to Lamberton in the late 1970’s. Scott graduated from Lamberton High School in 1982 and entered into the National Guard where he served for six years. After completing his service Scott lived and worked at a variety of places before settling in Wabasso, MN. Scott loved his family and his Chihuahua Cooper. He enjoyed fishing with his brother Rod and cousin Keith. He would take camping trips and was a crafty woodworker. In his free time he would follow the Minnesota Twins and would ump/play softball. Scott was a jokester and enjoyed bringing a smile to the face of his friends and family. Scott died on March 19, 2023 at the Wabasso Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Scott is survived by his children Skye Jenniges, Kendra Jenniges, and Dustin Ownbey, siblings Barbara (Lyle) Schaak, Allan (Terri) Jenniges, Myron (Sue) Jenniges, Wanda Jenniges, Don Jenniges, Rod Jenniges, Margaret Jenniges, Jeanette Jenniges, sisters-in-law Janet (Matt) Jenniges, Pauline (Steve) Jenniges, Karri (Mark) Jenniges, brother-in-law Howard (Becky) Weber, grandchildren Terrek Jenniges, Dusty Jenniges, Addison Jenniges, Kyrra, Heaven, Jocclyn, son's-in-law Jessie Johnson, Howard Weber, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brothers Roger, Steve, Mark, Matt, sister Becky, brother-in-law Lyle Schaak and aunts and uncles.
