The Sunset Funeral & Cremation Association began as a cooperative in 1931.

As the country was experiencing the great depression, a group of southwest Minnesota residents began this effort with the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors during through a difficult time. As time advances and customs change, Sunset Funeral and Cremation Association maintains the spirit of the original charter: neighbors helping neighbors during a difficult time. Our funeral home has a long history of serving our communities, we also provide many contemporary options for modern services.
