About Us
Our Beginnings
Sunset Burial Association began as a cooperative in 1931. As the country was experiencing the great depression, a group of southwest Minnesota residents began this effort with the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors during through a difficult time. As time advances and customs change, Sunset Funeral & Cremation Association maintains the spirit of the original charter: neighbors helping neighbors during a difficult time. Our funeral home has a long history of serving our communities, we also provide many contemporary options for modern services.
Kris Slettedahl is a native of the Belview/Echo area, graduated from Echo Wood Lake High School and began working for the Association in 2000. Kris manages the facilities and daily activities at the funeral home. She greets our guests with care and experience.
Your Sunset Funeral & Cremation Association has reached an agreement to hire Quinn Horvath and his team to provide funeral care for our families.
