Eleanor Lorraine Ellingson

Eleanor “Lorraine“ Ellingson, age 93, of Sacred Heart, Minnesota, passed peacefully on December 12, 2020, at the Avera Granite Falls Hospital. She was born on May 8, 1927, in Fosston, MN, to Elling and Mathilda (Frethem) Ellingson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She was united in marriage to Ernest “Duke” Ellingson on July 11, 1953, at our Savior‘s Lutheran Church in Belview, MN. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband Duke in 1995, sister Alvera Lauve, brothers Sanford Ellingson, Morris Ellingson, and Walter Ellingson. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, other relatives and dear friends. A private graveside service will be held in the future with interment at Eids Cemetery in Ortonville, MN. Memorials may be directed to Rock Dell Lutheran Church in Belview. Blessed be her memory.
