Dennis Sandberg

A private, family service will be held at a later date for Dennis Sandberg, 87, of Clara City, formerly of Granite Falls Township. Dennis was born on August 7, 1933, to Milton and Hazel (Fredrickson) Sandberg. He attended country school and lived most of his life on the family farm. Dennis served in the U.S. Army. After his discharge, he returned to the farm and worked doing rock crushing at various gravel pits in the area. He later worked as a welder at Wicks Manufacturing in Clara City. In his younger years, Dennis enjoyed hunting and had fond memories of excursions to Wyoming. For the last couple of years he had been living at Prairie Park Place in Clara City where he made new friends and appreciated the company. Dennis died on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at the Clara City Care Center in Clara City. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gerald and Bud, and sister, Carol.
