Keith C. Anderson

Keith C. Anderson, 63 of Marshall, formerly of Echo, passed away unexpectedly in Echo on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. A private family interment will take place. A Memorial Celebration of Keith’s life will be held from 4 – 8 PM on Monday, August 1, 2016 at the Echo Community Center. Online condolences may be placed at www.sunsetfuneralassociation.com. Keith Clarus Anderson was born on Wednesday, July 8, 1953 to Clayton and Therese (Iffert) Anderson at the Marshall Hospital. He grew up on his parent’s farm near Vesta, was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith, and graduated from Echo High School in 1971. On April 27, 1974, Keith was united in marriage to the love of his life, Pam Pischke at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Vesta. They made their home in the Vesta community for a few years before moving to Appleton where Keith worked as an electrician. In 1986, they moved back to his family farm where Keith accepted a position for the Echo City Maintenance Department and also farmed the family land. Keith and his wife Pam had recently moved to Marshall. Keith was a member of the Echo Fire Department and worked tirelessly along with other members of Echo Community Corp. for the Echo Charter School. He was proud to have his grandchildren attend for a number of years. Keith enjoyed stock car racing, trains, sports, family vacations, and following his grandchildren’s events. Keith had a heart of gold and loved to be with his family and would do anything for them. Keith never did anything in a small way. Every Sunday, Keith would get together with his brothers and have breakfast as staying close to his family was so important to him. On Tuesday, July 26, 2016, Keith passed away unexpectedly in Echo at the age of 63 years, 18 days. He is survived by his wife Pam Anderson of Marshall; two daughters, April (Eric) Nelson of Hartford, SD, and Angel (Troy) Nelson of Belview; five grandchildren, McGraw, McKenna, Mataya, Mesa, and Madigan; four brothers, Roger (Mary) Anderson of Lamberton, Russell (Meredith) Anderson of Poway, CA, Warrenn (Jeri) Anderson of Morris, Kevin (Keith’s twin brother) Anderson of Minneapolis; one sister, Edi (Pat) Anderson-Dougherty of Monument, CO; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and very dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Blessed be his memory.
