S unset Burial Association was established in 1931 in Echo, MN as a way to provide dignified funeral services at a low cost to the small communities of the area. In 1990, Sunset opened a funeral home in the community of Wabasso, MN. Over the years it has become known as Sunset Funeral and Cremation Association to define all the services available through the Association.

Sunset is owned by it's members, overseen by an elected board of directors and run by a manager and staff.
